MADISON -- When Isabella Jibilian goes to a restaurant, she has a book in her jacket pocket.

Isabella, 12, spent most of elementary school reading in hallways, or even under her teacher's desk, her mother, Antonia Jibilian, said.

"Ever since she was able to read she has been an avid reader. In fact, I have to frisk her before we go into a party or anything because she's always hiding her books in her pockets or under her sweater," Jibilian said.

Jibilian is bound to see more evidence of her daughter's passion.

As one of just two state students named to the 2011 Nutmeg Selection Committee for grades four, five and six, Isabella has to read 110 to 120 books in 40 weeks.

The effort will be part of her work on the committee, which helps select 10 books to be voted upon for the Nutmeg Book Award, an honor given to state children's favorite books.

Isabella is not intimidated by the reading that lies 時計販売 ahead.

"It's nice because sometimes I have to look for books that are good, but since I have the Nutmeg Committee to give me books which are good, I'm able to read more things that are worthwhile," she said.

Isabella, who will help select a book for the intermediate level, will read the titles and respond to them during Monogram vernis at least three meetings held by her committee.

Her favorite book she's read through Nutmeg so far is "Maddigan's Fantasia" by Margaret Mahey, which she said started slowly, but built into a good story about another world.

"I really like seeing how different places are. ... I like not just different cultures, but different worlds, and how different life can be," Isabella said.

Isabella said she is excited to take part in the selection process and help find books her peers will love to read.

"I feel really good that us kids are empowered to make the choices, because a lot of the time, when grown-ups pick things, it makes things a bit different," she said.

As reported, the firm ceased trading on Friday, forcing the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to step in to protect any customers who had booked with Goldtrail - which is also known as Goldtrail Holidays, Goldtrail Travel and Sunmar.

Arrangements were made by the CAA to ensure those already abroad are able to fly home.

However, Pete and Sally Smith, of Great Coates, were forced to pay an extra Pounds 320 to complete their two-week holiday in Turkey.

Speaking after touching-down at Humberside Airport early yesterday morning, Pete, 59, said: "We were really enjoying ourselves and the holiday was going well.

"Then, on Saturday morning, we received a phone call saying Goldtrail was going out of business and that an ATOL rep would be coming to see us later that day. We were told we would have to pay the full amount for the rooms again, plus Pounds 40 for airport transfers.

"With only five days left, we thought they would have only asked for us to pay the remaining five days' worth of accommodation.

"But they insisted we paid for the full two weeks - in cash.

"There must be an awful lot of local customers affected and it really does highlight how important it is to book through an ABTA- approved travel agent with whom you know your money is covered."

Echoing those words was Claire Branson, manager of Golden Hind Travel in St Peter's Avenue, Cleethorpes.

"We have had customers who have been affected, but because they booked through us they are protected so we can assist them.

"All of our customers are having to claim, but we are helping them with that process and have not left them high and dry."

After bagging the Rs 2,960 crore Delhi-Agra project spanning 180 km from the National Highways Authority of India last month, the company emerged as the largest developer of six-laning highway projects in the country. The company plans to more than double its road portfolio to over Rs 25,000 crore by 2012-13.

The eleven road projects currently in Reliance Infrastructure's portfolio comprise a total length of 970 km having an investment outlay of over Rs 11,900 crore.

The company's two projects in Tamil Nadu, Namakkal-Karur and Dindigul-Samynalore Toll, worth Rs 760 crore, are now commercially operational.

The company hopes to achieve financial closure in case of the Delhi-Agra project within the next six months. The project will be executed on design, build, finance, operate and transfer (Toll) basis with a concession period of 26 years, including the construction period.
